Even though this book by Gary V is already a couple years old, it still has a relevant message that should resonate with all those who want to make an impact in the world using social media.
In his book Gary tells us the gist of his marketing strategy, which is cleverly summed up by the book’s title: Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook. He is essentially telling us that in order to have the right to make a pitch or a selling proposition, our value giving should already be at the top of our game. Before we earn the right to ask people to buy our products and avail of our services, we must first make sure that we have already given out value at a substantial amount for free. Gary shows us that only through this strategy can we drown out the other noisy voices out there competing for attention.
